More Ways to Save

November 2, 2011

I have recently discovered two great sites for finding coupons and in-store savings.

The first is www.PGEverydaySolutions.com. This one is a Proctor and Gamble site which allows users to create a profile and register (a super easy process) to receive huge coupon booklets four times each year. This is great if you love brands such as Charmin, Crest, Aussie, Pantene, Clairol, Cover Girl, Bounty, Tide, Olay, Febreeze and more. The latest booklet that I received had over $70 of savings. The coupons are also more comprehensive than those that are found in the Sunday newspaper.

The second website is www.recipe.com. This site is run by the Meredith Corporation (the parent company to Better Homes and Gardens). While there are many recipes and even comprehensive “how to cook” videos for a variety of dishes, the best feature is the “Store Specials.” After becoming a registered user, you can search for a variety of in-store specials or coupons for grocery stores and supercenters in your zip code. With shopping list functions as well, users can search for specials directly from their online list. This tool is especially fabulous for those living in larger cities with multiple chain grocery stores but even works for the Walmart SuperCenter in my smaller town.

Hope these hints help you save a few more dollars during your kitchen’s busiest time of the year!
